Our Core Keeper Druida Boss Fight Guide will teach you how to tackle the fourth Titan Boss and the first of three deadly hydras you'll have to face!
After defeating the first three bosses inCore Keeper, you're tasked with taking out an additional six. Of these, three of them are Hydras found wandering through the various biomes. However, finding them, summoning them to battle, and defeating them is a monumentous task. This is how to defeat the first hydra, Druidra the Wild Titan, inCore Keeper.
Where to Find Druidra the Wild Titan inCore Keeper
Druidra hangs out in the Azeos' Wilderness, wandering underneath the leafy terrain. Like the other bosses inCore Keeper, you can craft an item to highlight their location on the map. Build the Ancient Hologram Pod from the Malugaz Statue near the Core. It needs x5 Ancient Gemstone and x5 Mechanical Part.
Once built, craft the Druidra the Wild Titan Scanner. It requires:
- x10 Ancient Gemstone
- x10 Mechanical Part
- x10 Scarlet Bar
- x3 Radiation Crystal
How to Summon Druidra inCore Keeper
Now you can see where Druidra is on the map, but you still can't fight it. Going to the area shows rubble as the hydra moves beneath the earth, but you need one more piece of the puzzle to summon it: theWind Organ of Wilderness. This is made at the Hydra Altar, crafted from the Solarite Workbench. It needs x1 Giant Bug Brain, so you have to defeat Ra-Akar before you can build it.
When the altar is placed in your base, use it to craft the Wind Organ of Wilderness. It's the only summoning instrument you can make at this time, as the other two require components from defeated hydras. It needs:
- x20 Gleam Wood Plank
- x15 Solarite Bar
- x1 Jungle Emerald
Finding a Jungle Emerald means heading to the Shining Frontier connected to Azeos' Wilderness. Look for an arena, which will reward you gemstones for completing it.
With Wind Organ of Wilderness in your inventory, go to a location where you can fight it. I chose the meadow where Azeos appears since it's already prepped from that boss fight. When Druidra is close by on the map, place the instrument on the ground and activate it. If the hydra is close enough there'll be a large rumble and roar, otherwise the item won't work.
How to Win Against Druidra | Core Keeper Boss Fight Best Strategy
Unlike previous bosses, the hydras have a damage shield you need to get through before you start hurting its actual health bar. This is signified by the top bar, while the bottom red bar is what you need to deplete to achieve victory.
Preparing Equipment and Supplies
Druidra prefers to stay away from your character, often tunneling under the battlefield to reach a new location out of your reach. You'll do a lot of running in this fight, so having a speed boost can be helpful.Having a combination of weapons will help when you need to avoid their various abilities. Any potions or foods that increase magical defense or provide a barrier will aid in this battle.
Druidra Attacks
Druidra has multiple abilities, both ranged and melee.
- Laser Beam: This beam can extend quite a distance and will follow you.
- Roar: A large roar causes rocks from the ceiling to fall.
- Vortex: Druidra sucks in air, pulling you closer to it.
- Helper: It summons a giant centipede to attack you. This is similar to the one you can encounter on the Sunken Sea or in the Shimmering Frontier.
- Chomp: It bites you when in melee range.
Strategy 1 — Physical Damage
Use whatever damage type, ranged or melee, that you can inflict the most damage with. If you're using melee, have high defense and a magic shield buff to withstand any chomps that may come down. The laser beam can follow you, so using a ranged attack while running can be helpful. I used an upgraded musket to get through the yellow shield bar as quickly as possible while avoiding damage.
Once the shield is depleted, Druidra will fall to the ground in a curl, their health bar exposed. This is the time to wail on it with all you have. Use your strongest attacks as quickly as possible until it gets up again. The shield will reappear.
Repeat the process until you finally take out the hydra.
Strategy 2 — Summoning
Warlock builds may find the Druidra boss fight easier thanks to their minions. The minion can keep the attention of any centipedes, as well as the hydra itself. You'll be able to inflict ranged damage while avoiding getting hurt. Not only that, but minions will be able to attack Druidra when they're down, shortening the length of the fight itself.
